5. Mt. Evan’s Scenic Byway and Hike
- After the beautiful drive there is a short hike to the top of a 14er
- On a clear day you can spot both Pikes Peak and Denver
- A great way to have your kids climb their first 14er 😉

Safety Note: Colorado can get some pretty nasty thunderstorms in the summer time with high risk of extreme flash flooding. I advise not hiking when storms are within the vicinity of the hiking area.
