The Happy Apple Farm is by far my favorite place to go for apple picking (ok, I haven’t been anywhere else) and pumpkin patch-ing. The Happy Apple Farm is very kid-friendly and budget friendly.
The hay rides are free, and you just pay for what you bring home (apples, pumpkins, berries, etc). We’ve gone several times over the past couple of years and you can typically expect to find pumpkins, apple picking at the end of August (depending on the weather that year- some years the apples get killed from weather so call ahead of time), berry bushes, hay rides, cute fall decorations, and a gift shop with lots of apple treats.
Even when the apples haven’t come in, we usually end up at the Happy Apple Farm as our pumpkin patch of choice.
